Pilatesandyoga - Mind, body and spirit
My intention in my classes is for students to enjoy yoga and have the opportunity to develop an approach of self-knowledge in their practice. The classes are adaptable and encompass students of all levels of experience and ability. Whilst looking at traditional Hatha Yoga postures and pranayamas I like to encourage fun and freedom within the traditional structure, above all to enjoy. You will build strength and increase flexibility, learn how to breathe properly, reduce stress and anxiety and feel relaxed and more in tune with life.

RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga has a softer side and is a series of deeply restorative asanas that are held for several minutes each. This meditative practice stimulates energy channels, enhancing the body's natural healing process.

Asanas and gentle stretching using props such as bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets. The props are used to support the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. They are slower paced and offer the opportunity for restoration, relaxation and healing.  Think rejuvenation through "super-relaxation"!

HATHA FLOW YOGA
Hatha Yoga is a gentle and joyful way to reduce stress, increase strength, cultivate flexibility, and improve overall health. The Flow session will build strength and stamina with asanas that are sequenced into a simple, natural flow that tones muscles, improves balance and calms mental focus.  After warming the body  we continue stretching in seated postures in preparation for relaxation and meditation.

All my classes include pranayama, relaxation and meditation to enhance spiritual growth.
